Throughout this site, we aim to show you what makes Townsville Christian College a very unique and amazing school that has enriched the lives of many students and families.
It is our great pleasure to welcome you and your family to Townsville Christian College at 210 Palmerston Street - a dynamic, co-educational Christian school from Early Childhood to Year 12. If you have not visited our college, we would be delighted to show you around our beautiful campus in Townsville, North QLD.
We love to partner together with families to develop each child’s potential to the fullest and to equip and empower them for a successful future. The Christian environment is caring and encourages every student to be the best they can be.
We are proudly called the ‘’Multi-cultural School of Townsville’’ with over 30 nations represented.
Our vision is clearly stated in our strategic plan, and students are encouraged to succeed academically, socially and spiritually. ‘’Building Lives for Success’’ is our motto, and we work hard in partnering together to fulfil this vision.
Through many varied extracurricular activities, including Sports and the ‘’Arts Project’’, we have seen students flourish and excel.
We provide affordable quality education, a strong community culture, and proven Christian values.

Our core values guide and shape who we are, and are reflected through student life, based on the characteristics of Jesus Christ.
Christ’s Love for all people encompasses our four key values that guide us:
Acceptance
We provide a safe and caring environment that cultivates an attitude that is inclusive of others and their differences. Our students strive to push through personal limitations “to do whatever it takes” and believe in themselves for God’s very best in all circumstances.
CHRISTLIKENESS
Based on the characteristics of Jesus Christ, we encourage all students to become inspired by Jesus’ servant ministry and practise it through acts of kindness, generosity, encouragement, leadership, justice and citizenship. We help students build their personal relationship with God and equip students to become more like Christ by reflecting His attributes while walking in humility and grace.
EXCELLENCE
We challenge our students to achieve their individual best in all aspects of life. Students are encouraged to develop their God-given talents and serve others passionately, while bringing honour and glory to God.
HONOUR
We encourage our students to value others and themselves, and experience the joy of living a life based on Jesus’ teachings. Our students develop and maintain a culture of honouring God and others within our diverse community through determination, persistence, courage, integrity, respect, courtesy, resilience and confidence.
Christian Schooling
Christian schooling the opportunity and the learning experience for our students to develop a strong Christian character, with an excellent educational foundation. We support our families by working in partnership to provide a learning environment that instils Christian values, and equips each student with the ability to flourish and become a positive influence. Committing to educational and spiritual excellence will help all students succeed and bring glory to God.
